It has been a while and for that, I apologize. My housemate's been ill and most of my spare time has been taken up with caring for her and the house while also working full time at the day job. So pretty much everything else that isn't a survival need has kind of been shoved to the side or dropped until she's better.

I have washed my car, gotten lunch, and now I'm settled in watching The Lost Kingdom which is so good so far.

The attention to the detail and the characterizations and the story there is fantastic. It's so much better than the Bastard Executioner which looked amazing but had no story - it was very flat and just more like a filmed version of a period photo shoot.

This though? This has depth and characterization and fantastic acting.

Based off The Saxon Stories by Bernard Cornwall, so far it's a definite keeper on my DVR.
