That was a prank by Rachel Luttrell and Jewel Staite: they put something in Joe’s drink (whatever it was) not realizing he would be in the shot. The next day on LJ, someone had a gif up of it, and there was a report from the set about the prank. To this day, I have to wonder just what they put in that cup. :D
Revenge of the ladies! \o/ I can’t believe they left it in. I wonder if the camera person was in on it.
